will immerse the student in current real estate and real estate related statutes and regulations and important legal issues, developments and practices.
- RECORD KEEPING and TRUST ACCOUNTS (8 credit hours)
will cover the proper recordkeeping procedures required by the Real Estate Commission to maintain and account for funds belonging to others.
- CLOSINGS (24 credit hours)
will teach students the basic skills necessary to properly close a real estate transaction, including responsibilities from the contract through and after the closing. Students will also be taught how to account for all funds received and disbursed as well as a comprehensive review of the legal documents prepared by the broker.

This section will give a working knowledge of the practical applications of entering the real estate industry, a basic understanding in determining competency, the necessary components of a successful transaction, and an overview of market trends.
