Instructor –  Jason Jay

Jason spent 18yrs as a mechanical engineer in R&D product development  prior to becoming a Realtor.  His first job out of school was Bell Labs  where he earned most of his 35 patents and his Masters in Mechanical  Engineering from Columbia University. Fast forward those 18 years and he left his technical sales / engineering / project management job in 2013 to join his wife Trish Giassa in her thriving real estate business.

Since they’ve been working together they’ve sold over $300 million in volume, and Jason received his luxury certification and became a Guild member of ILHM in 2015, became a certified instructor with eXp Realty in 2019, and a Success Coach in 2022. Most importantly, 35 of his last 37 buyer sides he’s taken the client out once and gotten them under contract. Jason enjoys many repeat clients and referrals from his happy buyer clients.

When not at work, Jason enjoys cars (especially tracking them), which includes coaching teens car control and accident avoidance with Street Survival as well as volunteering as a safety and corner worker with Rocky Mountain Vintage Racing.  Additionally, he’s taught mogul skiing to the physically disabled with Crested Butte’s Adaptive Program, and loves skiing, hiking the backcountry, and cooking – but not all at the same time.
