This course will educate brokers with the necessary understanding the complexities of leasing a property as a lease only or as a part of ongoing property management. In addition, will understand the risks of not following all the legislation now in place in regards to advertising, screening and qualifying tenants. Students will leave the class with the understanding all the steps of the leasing process and how if not completed properly will put the brokerage at risk of lawsuits and financial penalty

Rob has worked with the Education Task Force since 2012 and was a member of the 2013 Property Management Task. He holds the Residential Property Management Professional designation and the Master Property Manager designation awarded by the National Association of Residential Property Managers. He has been teaching property management classes since 2005 and has taught at the local, state, regional, and national level. Robert is the 2021 President for the Colorado Springs Chapter of NARPM and has previously served on the Colorado Springs NARPM Board and as Education and Compliance committee Chairs. Rob was the 2020 President and founding member of the Colorado Landlord Legislative Coalition.
