Colorado Real Estate School is owned and operated by the father and son team of Jon and Jesse Farnlof.
Jon is a visionary who recognized the need for an internet-based video school and in 2008, Colorado Real Estate School was born. With over 30 years experience in the real estate industry and in excess of 40 years as an educator, Jon was imminently qualified to be the driving force behind CRES.
Following a career in Information Technology, he became a successful real estate broker, a Director of Pre-license Education with Coldwell-Banker, a managing broker with a large Re/Max affiliate and founder of a fast growing property management company. He is active on volunteer committees with the Colorado Division of Real Estate, a member of The Real Estate Educators Association and the Board of Directors for the The Initiative, a non-profit doing ground-breaking work with survivors of domestic violence and specifically persons with disabilities.
Jon brought Jesse into the fold in 2019 after his own successful career as a teacher. With a Master’s Degree in Education, Jesse brings a fresh insight to this well-established school in his role as CEO.
Our faculty consists of licensed Colorado Real Estate agents who are credentialed instructors with considerable knowledge of the real estate industry. They have helped thousands of students pass their state exam the first time.
